An MoU for a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturing plant by Vikram Solar, with an investment of Rs 15,037 crore and creating 2,670 jobs, was signed for SIPCOT Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli district, in the presence of the Chief Minister.
