The Annal Ambedkar Overseas Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, implemented by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, aims to support students from Scheduled Castes, Converted Christian Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes in pursuing higher education abroad. For the academic year 2026-2027, applications are currently being invited. Eligibility criteria include securing admission to a Master's degree or Ph.D./Post-doctoral research program in a foreign university ranked within the top 1000 in the QS World University Ranking. For Master's degrees, applicants must be under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2026, and for Ph.D./Post-doctoral research, under 40 years of age as of April 1, 2026. The family's annual income should not exceed Rs. 12.00 lakhs. Applications will be processed based on the QS World University Ranking of the admitting university. The application window is from May 05, 2026, to June 05, 2026, and applications must be submitted online only through https://tnadwscholarship.in/ and https://www.tnadw.tn.gov.in/overseas_scholarship.
