Review Meeting on Food Supply for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Schemes

A joint review meeting was held today (25.06.2026) at the Secretariat, co-chaired by the Ministers for Food and Civil Supplies and Social Welfare, to discuss the implementation and improvement of food supply schemes by the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation to the Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department. Key discussions included improving food quality, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving outstanding payments of Rs. 500 crore.
