Condolence and financial assistance announced by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay, to the family of the deceased and the injured in an accident that occurred on 18.05.2026 at a private restaurant near Santhapillai Gate, Pudupattinam village, Thanjavur taluk, Thanjavur district, while repairing an air conditioner.

In Thanjavur district, one person died and five were injured in an accident while repairing an AC at a private restaurant. Chief Minister Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay announced financial assistance of ₹3 lakh to the deceased's family, ₹1 lakh each to the four seriously injured, and ₹50,000 to one person with minor injuries.
