Water Release from Amaravathi Dam for Irrigation and Drinking Water Needs
As per the Chief Minister's order, the Tamil Nadu Government has permitted the release of water from Amaravathi Dam in Tiruppur district for 15 days, from 21.07.2026 to 05.08.2026, to protect crops in 25250 acres of irrigated land and fulfill drinking water needs.
