Water Release from Barur Periya Eri for Irrigation in Krishnagiri District, Pochampalli Taluk, Benefiting 2397 Acres
The Tamil Nadu Government has ordered the release of water from Barur Periya Eri in Krishnagiri District, Pochampalli Taluk, for the first crop cultivation, benefiting 2397 acres. The water will be released for 130 days from July 16, 2026, to November 22, 2026, with a rotational irrigation method.
