Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay today (24.6.2026) presented appointment orders to a total of 401 persons, comprising 383 Assistant Engineers (Electrical) and 18 Assistant Accounts Officers, selected through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for the Energy Department, at a function held at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai.
Order issued at the Energy Department review meeting chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay, to further strengthen Tamil Nadu's power infrastructure by establishing 231 new sub-stations at a cost of Rs. 15,032 crore, formally appointing 15,058 power employees required for rectifying power faults, immediately procuring power equipment, and deploying power employees for patrol duties.
At the Energy Department review meeting chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay, orders were issued regarding strengthening power infrastructure by establishing new sub-stations, appointing power employees, procuring power equipment, and deploying them for patrol duties.
