C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar, with approximately 1000 participants including TNEB contractors and suppliers.

During a review meeting at the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board headquarters, irregularities were found in the allocation and approval processes of the Green Energy Corporation, specifically regarding a lack of transparency. Consequently, Mr. V. Kasi and Mr. P. Chandrasekaran have been suspended. Additionally, the pension benefits of retired director Mr. S. Mangalanathan have been withheld.
