The Tamil Nadu government has announced free bus travel for school and college students on State Transport Corporation buses starting from June 4, 2026, until new free bus passes for the 2026-27 academic year are issued.
For the benefit of students, applications for undergraduate courses in Government Arts and Science Colleges will be received again online from 01.06.2026 for students who missed applying.
