Minister Adhav Arjuna Provides Financial Aid and Equipment to Athletes

Honorable Minister Thiru. Adhav Arjuna distributed financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh to Para Badminton player Thulasimathi Murugesan and shooting equipment worth Rs. 6.27 lakh to Para shooting player Manojkumar. He also awarded high incentives to medal-winning athletes from the Asian U20 Athletics Championship and financial support for an athlete participating in the Asian Beach Games.

Joseph Vijay presented a cheque for Rs. 50 lakh as a high incentive on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority to Grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa, who made history by becoming the first Indian to win the title in the Norway Chess 2026 series held in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
