As per the order of Hon'ble Chief Minister Thiru. S. Joseph Vijay, Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development and Water Resources will inspect and inaugurate desilting and maintenance works of water bodies in Chennai and surrounding areas on Monday (27.07.2026). This special three-day inspection will commence desilting and maintenance works at six key locations.
